NCCPAP BOARD MEMBERS FORGO TRADITIONAL
RECOGNITION TO SUPPORT HURRICANE RELIEF EFFORTS

We are proud to share the news that NCCPAP’s board of directors decided to forgo the traditional recognition of  presenting outgoing officers and board members with engraved plaques and instead has donated the funds to support hurricane relief efforts.  Donations were made to The Salvation Army, Habitat for Humanity and the Louisiana Disaster Recovery Foundation.

“Our board members know how much their hard work and devotion is appreciated, and it was a very easy decision for all of us to decide to use these funds to relief efforts instead,” explained Dennis Scott, CPA, President of NCCPAP and a partner at Gruver, Zweifel & Scott, LLP, CPAs in  Oneonta, New York.

We also would like to take this opportunity to remind members that the NCCPAP website (www.63.134.211.24) provides information on a program offering to assist affected CPAs and encouraging members to make their own donation to organizations involved in relief efforts.

Thank You-
