Dear Colleagues:

NCCPAP is reaching out to help Gulf area CPAs who have been affected by Hurricane Katrina (and Rita).  Here’s how you can help:

NCCPAP’s Executive Committee has requested that our members volunteer to send an email, written by the affected CPA to that CPA’s clients, providing them with updated contact information and status of the CPA's office and services.  The affected CPA would provide list of clients email addresses which the NCCPAP volunteer would then need to input.

Also, if any NCCPAP members can provide temporary desk space to the displaced CPAs temporarily, this would of course be welcomed.

We will pair displaced CPAs with a NCCPAP member volunteer who is willing to help, by sending out emails to their clients or providing temporary office space or both.

If you are able to help in any way, please let me know as soon as possible.  I can be reached at relief@63.134.211.24  or (914) 723-3078 if you have any questions.

Thank You-

Neil Sullivan, CPA;
Disaster Co-ordinator
