NCCPAP also provides members with a “board of professional advisors” available for assistance to its members, a series of MAP surveys that enhance members understanding of how other CPA firms manage their practices, and email briefs regarding significant issues that might affect members and their clients that are typically sent out within hours of their release by the IRS. “We look forward to extending the benefits of the dual membership program to other local independent CPA organizations,” commented Lana Kupferschmid, CPA, chair of the NCCPAP membership committee. The Texas Association of Certified Public Accountants is a nonprofit, voluntary, professional organization representing Texas CPAs. TACPA dedicates itself exclusively to the unique interests of CPAs in public practice, including preserving the integrity and enhancing the value of the CPA certificate within the business and financial communities.
